I. Let's go sightseeing!

a) Dialogues

An American speaks to his Russian business partner. He is going to have a day free of work and asks what places he should see in the town. The Russian recommends to go to the Fine Arts Museum. The American asks to show him this museum on the map and he asks when it is open and how much the entrance price is. The Russian tells that the museum is open every day since about 10 o'clock.

A tourist wants to take a picture of himself in front of the cathedral and she asks a passer-by for help. The passer-by agrees and takes a picture. The tourist asks to do it twice and thanks the passer-by for the help.

Можно     may indicate the possibility to do something and can be translated like "it is possible" or "it is allowed, it is permissible", depending on the context.

d) In order to say at what time an action happens, the preposition в is used in Russian. Look at the examples, paying attention to the questions "what time is it?", "at what time?" and "when?":
